A 60-year-old woman who with diet and exercise lost over 100 lbs. This left her with loose hanging skin with poor elasticity and a separation in her abdominal muscles, (diastasis rectus abdominus) creating a convex silhouette. She underwent an abdominoplasty with repair of her rectus muscles. She was thrilled with the result, and it motivated her to continue with her healthy lifestyle and exercise. Post-op photo was taken at 18months.
