Can I Get a Face Lift That Only Focuses on Specific Areas?
Sometimes patients don’t feel as though their entire face needs adjusting and would rather focus their procedures around a specific area like their cheeks or under their eyes. While it is possible for your surgeon to perform a procedure targeting a particular area, this may create a few complexities that need to be discussed with your surgeon.
For example, if most signs of aging occur in your cheek area without additional loose skin in the neck or jowls, then a mid-face lift might be an appropriate option. This partial face lift will correct sagging in the cheek area but not the jowls. If you have lower eyelid bags or droopy eyelid skin, a face lift may not be necessary and blepharoplasty or an eye lid lift can be performed on its own.
During your consultation with your surgeon, he will be able to determine which procedures will be best for you to address your concerns, and also advise on whether a full or mini face lift is needed or a combination of specific procedures.
