This procedure, also known as labia reduction or labia rejuvenation, can help decrease the size and improve the appearance of enlarged or asymmetrical labia minora.

The labiaplasty procedure
The labia reduction surgery is performed in our state of the art, accredited Los Angles Lasky Clinic Surgical Center under sedation anesthesia. The procedure usually takes about one hour with little discomfort or pain to the patient.
Small incisions are made to remove any excess tissue or to even-out the edges of the labia minor. Sutures are placed where the incisions were made and these sutures should dissolve within a few weeks.
What to expect after your labia reduction surgery
After surgery, patients experience minimal bruising and are able to return back to work within three to four days. Patients may also shower the next day after the procedure and will not have stitches to remove. They can also resume intercourse within three to four weeks. In most cases, the labia reduction is virtually undetectable after complete healing.
