Endoscopic Midface Lift
The endoscopic midface lift is a less invasive procedure compared to the traditional face lift and is ideally suited for those patients who have sagging in the cheeks but do not have jowling or banding in the neck. Results are more permanent than those provided by injectables, yet more subtle than those of a traditional face lift.
If you have sagging skin near your cheek area, the endoscopic midface lift can help by restoring a more refreshed and rejuvenated appearance.
Am I a Good Candidate?
Dr. Stevens recommends the endoscopic face lift procedure for adult men and women who are physically healthy. Also, it is recommended for those who do not smoke. Candidates should be realistic in their expectations as well.
What to Expect After Surgery
During the initial healing process, patients may experience some degree of swelling and bruising which typically fades within one to two weeks. There is generally little to no discomfort associated with the endoscopic midface lift, though itching and possible numbness may occur around the incisions as they heal. Any discomfort that results can be alleviated with medication. Work and light activity can typically be resumed within seven to ten days.
